An independent fan community

OrangePower is a place for fans to discuss and rank Oklahoma State and Big 12 sports. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Oklahoma State University, the Big 12 Conference, member schools, or Discord. A partner listing or external link does not make that service part of this website.

Discord sign-in and your account

Member features require a Discord account you control. You must be at least 13 years old and meet Discord’s minimum age requirements in your country. Use your own account, keep it secure, and do not impersonate another person or share access to manipulate participation. Let us know if you believe your website account has been misused.

Discord sign-in verifies your Discord identity. It does not mean OrangePower or Discord endorses a member’s opinions. Discord’s own Terms of Service also apply when you use Discord.

Fair participation

You are welcome to disagree about sports. You may not use the site to threaten or harass people, disclose someone else’s private information, infringe others’ rights, distribute malicious code, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or break applicable law.

Do not use multiple accounts, bots, scripts, or coordinated false identities to obtain extra votes or manipulate results. Do not attempt to access another member’s ballot or administrative tools. Report a suspected security problem privately to contact@orangepower.net rather than exploiting it or publishing private information.

Power Poll rules

Each member may keep one ballot per poll. Rank every listed team exactly once. Your latest valid submission before voting closes replaces your earlier ballot. The dates displayed for each poll, in Central time, control voting and results release; preseason and postseason windows can differ from weekly polls. The server’s clock determines whether a submission meets the deadline.

Published rankings reflect submitted opinions, not official standings or a guarantee of future performance. We may reject invalid or abusive submissions and restrict participation to protect the poll. If an error affects published results, we may publish a separate explanation or correction while preserving the original archive. Future schedules and features may change.

Pick’em contest rules

By submitting picks, you agree to the Pick’em contest rules and acknowledge the public display of your locked entry. Pick’em is a free community game without entry fees or prizes. One entry per member per week. Complete all picks and the designated combined-score tiebreaker before the displayed first-kickoff deadline; the latest valid submission replaces your previous entry. After that deadline, submitted handles, Discord avatars, selections, and tiebreak predictions are public. Do not participate if you do not want those details published.

The Pick’em rules explain scoring, voided games, ties, and season standings. Administrators select games and enter scores. Standings remain provisional until finalized; recorded corrections can recalculate weekly and season results. Do not use multiple accounts, automated entries, or other methods to manipulate the contest.

Your submissions and our content

You retain any rights you have in what you submit. By submitting a ballot or other material through a feature we offer, you give OrangePower a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to store and process it to run that feature, and to create, display, archive, and share combined poll results on the site and our community channels. For Pick’em, this includes publishing your submitted handle and locked picks, tiebreak predictions, standings, and winner announcements as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission is limited to operating and presenting the service; it does not transfer ownership of your content to us or authorize publication of your private ballot contrary to our Privacy Policy.

Our original website text, design, and artwork are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Linking to the site and sharing links to results are welcome. Please ask before republishing substantial original material, unless the law permits your use.

School names, team logos, conference marks, Discord branding, and other third-party material belong to their respective owners. Our copyright notice does not claim ownership of that material or of member submissions. Their use here does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, email contact@orangepower.net with the page URL, a description of the material and your rights, and a way to contact you. We will review the request.

Access, changes, and availability

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security problems, legal requirements, or service maintenance. Where practical, we will explain a restriction and provide a way to contact us about it. You can stop using the site at any time. Signing out ends your current session; requests to delete stored member information are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

We provide the site on an “as available” basis. We cannot promise uninterrupted service, error-free results, or that every feature or archive will remain available forever. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Other services and updated terms

Our Discord server has its own community rules, and linked forums, social platforms, and other services have their own terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for reviewing those when you use them.

We may revise these terms as the site changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice for material changes affecting member participation before they take effect where required. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the affected features and contact us about your data.
